The principal purpose of this website is to track a patient's use of a medication and refill the prescription automatically. Since the website was intended to be accessed by users on the go as well as around the clock, our team decided to make a mobile-centric, responsive design, and my role was the UI design.

Although CSS-oriented formatting is one of the crucial technical advances in responsive websites, any formatting outside bitmap areas must be done through CSS properties, namely, drop shadows, gradients, and rounded corners. These options provide the benefit of efficient HTML-integration, yet also require that Photohop-powered ornamentation be kept out of the equation. By keeping the affordances as well as limitations of this technology in mind, I was able to conceive a responsive-compatible design while avoiding the pitfall of overdesigning, so that my technical know-how efficiently facilitated a streamlined process of GUI construction.
